How It Works:
The event starts with a welcome and a guided tasting of the individual wine varieties used in the challenge, so everyone learns what each one brings to a blend — fruit, body, structure or spice. Teams are then given their measuring equipment and a brief: create the best possible blend. They taste, measure, debate and adjust, recording their recipe as they go. Once each team has settled on its final blend, they give it a name and present it, and the blends are tasted and judged to crown the winning team of winemakers.
